Over the past few years printing technology has changed in favour of CMYK printing, whether litho or digital. Pantone colours are no longer a cheaper option to CMYK.
The benefit of printing your Pantone colours out of CMYK are many. Your corporate colours will have a better chance of matching throughout your range of printed material (dependent upon the stock used). The need for machine wash ups and special ink mixes are removed, with the added benefit that adverts placed in most publications better match your corporate image.
