Colin completes a long print run
Thursday, 08 January 2009
This month marked a significant milestone for Crossprint's longest serving printer, Colin Staley.
Colin joined Crossprint in 1984 when Paul McCartney topped the charts and Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister. The business was still owned then by its founder Peter Cross, and was based at Newport's Riverway. Colin was operating one of four single colour presses.
It was 1991 when the County Press Group bought the thriving print business and began a programme of investment and development. Thirteen years later Crossprint moved to its current location and now boasts market leading technology in its drive to become an industry beacon of quality in both printing and environmental issues.
A presentation was made to Colin by Tim Sell, MD, as a mark of appreciation for his 25 years service to Crossprint.
