Quark Xpress and Adobe InDesign are considered to be the industry standard layout programs for commercial printing. Please use "Collect for Output" in Quark and "Package" in InDesign when supplying files.

Illustrator and Freehand are considered to be the industry standard illustration programs. It is advisable to save files from these programs as EPS. We are able to output directly from Illustrator files but will need to import Freehand files into Quark or InDesign. Coreldraw is used mainly on windows PCs. It is advisable to outline all fonts and then export as EPS or Adobe Illustrator for importing into Quark or InDesign.

Microsoft programs (such as Word and Publisher) are best suited for office environments but we are able to output from these applications. If using Publisher please ensure that images are "linked" and not "embedded" and please supply all images separately. Ideally, use the "Pack and Go" feature in Publisher before supplying the files.
